CLÚSTER IN THE 20TH GLOBAL CONFERENCE OF TC
Monterrey, N.L. - Last November 8th, the Tourism Cluster of Nuevo León attended The 20th Global Conference of TCI that took place in Bogotá, Colombia, seeking to extend international collaboration networks and competitiveness policies.
This event brings together clusters from around the world to reflect on what has been learned over the 25 years that this working model has grown, as well as to learn about the vision for the future of these organizations.
Among the topics highlighted in the event, the advances in the policies that make the Clusters grow and through the collaboration create more competition were known.
During the visit, the Tourism and Events Cluster of Bogotá shared about its culture and projects through a tour that included
- Tasting of traditional dishes in a market promoted by the Gastronomy Cluster, in collaboration with local cooks.
- Sample of the new Bogotá venue, Agora.
- Sample of Colombian coffee preparation.
- Visit to the El Dorado Museum, getting to know the culture and pieces of ancient indigenous people of the area.
Federico Clariond, President of the Tourism Cluster of Nuevo León and Mauricio Magdaleno, Director of the Cluster, shared the strategies and projects being developed to promote the Tourism Industry of Nuevo León in Medellín. Thus strengthening the bonds of international collaboration with Joanna Martinez, Director of Cotelco Antioquia Choco and Santiago Murillo Arrubla, from the Metropolitan Area of Valle de Aburrá.
The Tourism Cluster is ready for the future of this work model and now with new collaboration networks abroad.
